Hey kiddo!

Today has been a really good day. I finished the last song for my next release, and all that’s left is the new Thursday at 7 track (which is mostly done) and the album art. Then it will be time to make this thing official!

I’ve still not picked a release date, mostly because I’m a coward, but also because I want to make sure I have all the cassettes and CDs in house before the day of release. I don’t want another keychain fiasco.

I wanted to show you a little sneak peak of what I was working on today:

I’ve been kinda stingy on the previews for this release, and I apologize for that. Normally by now you would have heard at least some 10 second videos of works-in-progress or something. But this one has been a little different. Sorry. BUT NO LONGER!

Are you sick and tired of me sending you emails about how I’m “working on the upcoming EP” with nothing to show for it? Me too!

Bernie, from URY’s Night Call radio show contacted me a while back about being on a charity compilation, and I sure am a sucker for those things, so I said “Sure!”

I was just going to let him use something I’d alrwady released, but I had this one song floating around that I didn’t really know what to do with, so I said “Hey, how about an exclusive track?” and he replied with “No, we hate new things!”

OK, that’s actually not true, he was pumped! And now so am I, cause I get to share some new music with you, and have a chance to ask you to support a good cause!

Things are HECTIC here at VSD HQ. SO much to prepare for, and so much to tell you!

For those of you that don’t know, Beyond Synth is synth focused podcast hosted by Andy Last. You may know him from podcast, Beyond Synth.

One of the first things I did when I discovered synthwave was try to find more of it, and Beyond Synth was a great resource for that. And as a fledgling producer, getting to hear interviews from other producers was integral into figuring out how to get started. So ever since I first started I’ve had the goal of getting an interview on Beyond Synth. Lo and behold, here we are. Once again, this wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for your tremendous support. Your kind words have been motivation for me to keep going through the tough times, and your financial support has given me the tools I need to make more music and bring it to the stage. For that I can not thank you enough.
